These pancakes are now prepared in many parts of the world including Italy thanks to their ease of preparation and the use of simple ingredients that are usually never in short supply in our homes flour, eggs, milk, and sugar. Pancakes are ideal for sweetening the awakening of the children and why not for taking a break from studying.
Our doses are for approximately 6/8 pancakes and we chose to serve them with maple syrup, which is readily available in all supermarkets. Warm up the pan; Laura’s video recipe is waiting for you
Pancake Recipe

Pancakes are soft slightly spongy treats that originated in North America and are served for breakfast with maple syrup, jam, and spreads Pancakes are typically served for Sunday brunch, often with fruit and various pastries, but also with savory dishes such as cold cakes and salads.
Ingredients
- 130 g of sifted 00 flour
- 2 medium eggs
- 15 g of sugar
- yeast 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- 200 g of milk
- 30 g of melted butter
- jam to taste maple syrup or Nutella or jam
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- To make the pancakes, separate the yolks from the whites and whisk the whites until stiff.
- Using a hand whisk, combine the egg yolks and sugar in a separate container (or electric whisk).
- Mix in the melted butter and milk, a little at a time.
- Now, gradually add the yeast followed by the sifted flour.
- We continue to mix until we have a lump-free dough. If not, a colander can be used to filter the mixture.
- Finally, gradually add the stiffly whipped whites and mix until the mixture is creamy and homogeneous.
- Place a drizzle of oil (or a small knob of butter) in a nonstick pan and heat it over medium heat.
- Pour a ladle of the mixture into the hot oil, attempting to form a circular shape.
- Each pancake is cooked for about 2-3 minutes, then turned with a spatula and cooked until golden brown.
- We repeat the process until the batter is depleted.
- When finished, our pancakes can be topped with maple syrup, Nutella, or jam.
- We then embellished them with berries.
