Butter Chicken Recipe

Although many diners are hesitant to eat chicken breasts you can be sure that this preparation is sufficiently juicy and fragrant with butter sauce garlicĀ  and herbs rich. You can however use the piece of your choice if you prefer. The ideal way to serve this dish is with accompaniments that complement the sauce. The perfect accompaniment could be rustic baked potatoes, sauteed vegetables, and asparagus, or white rice. A green salad with cherry tomatoes would be delicious as well.

This simple recipe yields succulent chicken that can be served with any type of sauce or simply with pan juices. Use a fireproof skillet or saucepan with a lid.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 Ā½ tablespoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary

Instructions

    1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Using a kitchen hammer flatten the thickest parts of the chicken.
    2. Using paper towels pat it dry and season it on both sides with salt and pepper.
    3. Add the chicken to the pan with the oil.
    4. Brown each side for 5 to 6 minutes. Reserve.
    5. Reduce the volume of the game and melt a tablespoon of butter in the same skillet.
    6. Saute the garlic and sage until lightly browned but not burned.
    7. Deglaze the pan with the chicken broth.
    8. Add the thyme and rosemary to the remaining butter.
    9. Stir until the butter is completely melted.
    10. For 2 minutes, place the chicken and sauce together.
    11. Serve immediately with potatoes or vegetables.
